For security it comes with the overload protection function as well as the red safety key in the middle with a cord that you can attach to your clothes. The treadmill will stop safely if you drift back or fall in case of an emergency. It doesn’t require much maintenance except for occasional oiling of the belt through the hole on the side depending on how frequent you use the treadmill. And you have a more comfortable walking or jogging experience. You can check the rubber for dryness and add some oil through the hole if too dry.
